Dr. Woodward genuinely cares about trying to help figure out what is causing these seizures. He takes the time to read the file and to read the results of the various tests before coming on to a tele Health appointment. Dr. Strom and manager Meagan Watson took the time to go over what FND/PNES really is and made me feel better after being treated so horrendously at my hometown hospitals. I have been repeatedly told that I was “faking” and “it is all your choice to be having these fake seizures” many times over the last 3 months. Dr. Strom explained how sadly this is extremely common and how she has podcasts to help educate and end the misunderstanding and stigma! Dr. Strom assured me that what is happening to me is very “real” and can be overcome with the proper treatment. This gives me great hope! Thank you so very much Dr Strom and all of the Neuroscience team!!!
